MinneHack

• get rid of the drawstring bags, except the black ones

• mentors were not used as much as we would have liked, it would be good to come up with a better system to handle that
  • a few hours prior to minnehack to talk to mentors? like a small career fair?
• sponsorship info document is way too long, it should be trimmed down to make it more readable to read and do
• shipt wants to do more stuff with us, we should try to do more events with them
  • unix class 3 could be about containerization, and shipt could present it?

unix class

• we should work on improving unix class
• ask professors about things that they want for this
• we should sit down and send emails to our professors, ask questions, go in person, and try to get professors to give input
• getting input from professors also helps us advertise
• it would be good to try to get money from the department and/or have sponsored unix class events

lan party post mortem

• went super well on our end
• DHCP was a little goofy but did get fixed
• no one played overwatch, league
• popular games: super tux cart, fighting game rotation, minecraft, ddr, quake/saurbrotten
• turnout was ~50 people
• gamer food companies have sponsored this in the past

uko

• possibly ammend uko constitution to have it's elections just be the acm ones, and uko officers are just acm ones by proxy
• we want UKO stuff (actual computer science) to continue even if UKO explodes
• we really want to keep our PCards
