With the fall semester about to begin, we'd like to update you on some of the events we have scheduled in the next few months:
We will be holding a resume and interview prep event on September 12th in Keller Hall 3-210 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Come by to find out what hiring reps are looking for and get tips to improve your resume. Pizza will also be provided for event attendees.
Code42 is interested in hosting our members at their Minneapolis headquarters on September 25th from 1-3 P.M. There will be a tour of their facilities and a meeting with some of their dev team and their leadership. Read more about Code42 on their site: https://www.code42.com/about-code42/. ACM's systems committee is currently recruiting for a web application developer. If you are interested in helping out, contact acm@umn.edu or check out the #systems-help-wanted channel in our discord server.

CADSCOM 2018: The research Colloquium on Analytics, Data Science and Computing (CADSCOM) will be held on October 26th and 27th at the Minnesota State University Mankato facility in Edina, Minnesota. There will be an industry panel presentation and networking dinner on Friday, and keynotes and presentations on Saturday. Participation in the Colloquium is free for all attendees.
